On the latest RAW, Trev Downey, Dave Hendrick and Hari Sethi assess the performances and analyse the key moments in an emphatic and deserved win for Liverpool over Brentford. On an afternoon which saw the Reds faced with a fair degree of threat, it was heartening to discuss a comprehensive victory with an impaired squad. Amongst the topics discussed are: the return to imperious form of VVD; the encouraging displays of Endo and Tsimikas after many had lost faith in them; the perpetual magnificence of Alisson Becker; the delightful purple patch of Diogo Jota; Mo Salah's potential to be the Greatest Red Ever; Darwin Nunez silencing his critics; Paul Tierney being a terrible set of lads: the idiocy of not enhancing dead-ball tech; Dave's infamous disciplinary record and Joel Matip being one of the best lads ever.

Jim Boardman and Jay Reid are back after missing a couple of weeks and so there is plenty to discuss this time round, not least the half dozen games the Reds have played since. The last couple of performances haven’t been much to write home about, but that draw and defeat came off the back of a good run of wins and even some clean sheets, so as demoralising as the last seven days feel, there’s still plenty to look forward to. Isn’t there?
On this week’s show:
- A look back at Toulouse away and Luton away
- A belated look back at the derby
- A look ahead to Brentford
- The Trent experiment: park it until there are players it can work with - or just scrap it?
- Using the wrong tools for the wrong job - and the damage it does
- How the Kop always pays respect where it’s due
- Small time fans trying to use Hillsborough as a weapon - yet again
- Shouldn’t match-going fans of any club be happy they can afford to go to games - without needing to mock starving children?
- PGMOL - ‘See, we aren’t the game’s only awful officials’
- PGMOL - ‘Here’s another Greater Manchester referee for a Liverpool game’
- Anny Road progress - at least cosmetically
- Do Liverpool need to start showing more respect to supposedly easier opposition?
- An Anfield crowd will love you if make the effort - but don’t just save it for the ‘big’ games!
- And best of all - Luis Diaz’s dad is free!

Dave and Karl discuss the game against Brentford for the coming weekend as the reds welcome Thomas Frank's team to Anfield. They go through the game in detail with Brentford missing key players, however have dangerous players with Mbuemo probably being the pick of the bunch. They also discuss Liverpool's troubles with back to back awful performances, and now a selection headache in midfield with a mix of suspensions and injuries limiting their options.

On the latest RAW, Trev Downey, Dave Hendrick and Karl Matchett assess the performances and analyse the key moments in a disappointing and deserved defeat for Liverpool in the Europa League at Toulouse. On a night which could have seen The Reds qualify as group winners, instead they contrived to put in one of the worst European displays of the Klopp era and squander a glorious opportunity to rest all the big names in the remaining two fixtures. The lads look at wretched showings by Kelleher, Endo, Tsimikas and Gakpo, disappointing showings by Quansah, Szoboszlai, Doak, TAA, Salah and Elliot and reflect on a tactically disjointed mess which should have been partially sweetened by a getting an away draw until the referee and VAR cohort conspired to rob Quansah of his redemption arc.
