Legendary actor Kevin Bacon and his big brother and film composer Michael Bacon join Kyle Meredith to discuss the new album from their collaborative musical project The Bacon Brothers, Ballad of the Brothers. Listen to the new episode now.

The duo talk about their upbringings in Philadelphia and how the setting has shaped their sound. While on the topic of foundational influences, the brothers also mention airport bars, tattoos, and their respective careers. Kevin, in particular, explains how his acting career helps him find different voices for each song. "I've always like singers who find a different place depending on the song they happen to be sinning," Kevin explains.

As Ballad of the Brothers dropped on April 19th, the same day as the new Taylor Swift and Pearl Jam albums, the two also explain their secret weapon for topping the charts: the autoharp. "I think that's gonna knock Taylor Swift off #1," Michael says as Kevin laughs.
