I had an experience today and I’ll have the bruises to show for it. I’m fine. Sassy and Dallas protected me.

Today is International Stress Awareness Day. Tomorrow is National Stress Awareness Day. During International Stress Awareness Week. Happy November.

Loss, by itself, is traumatic. People don’t talk about the fact that there’s more loss after loss. There’s the feelings of loss that follow the funeral.

You’re literally surrounded by everyone in one moment, and then left (by yourself, if you live alone!) the next.

There’s the actual people you lose along the way - friends, colleagues, relatives. Some are also grieving and in pain themselves. We’re all doing the best we can, right?
