With the international break afoot, the Beesotted crew assembled in a very funky Old Packhorse Pub in Chiswick High Road to take a peep and see what else was happening in and around the leagues.
And before you knew it, they were discussing w@nky free kicks and why did the referee not allow our players to set up for their wonky free kick against Wigan at the weekend?
Plus we go into an in-depth conversation about managers of ex-Championship clubs Aston Villa and Cardiff completely flufffing their lines. With the recent sacking of managers Roberto Di Matteo and Paul Trollope - particularly after both clubs spending hundreds of millions of pounds on transfer fees and wages over the past few years - we ask have these clubs completely lost the plot?.
fyi, this is a pre-cursor to a feature next week which will involve interviews with fans from the three relegated Premier League teams this season - Aston Villa, Newcastle and Norwich.
We also discuss Aston Villa’s strange twitter beef with Virgin Raiways which started with Virgin claiming that Villa had no prospective candidates for the forthcoming managers job..
Songs on the terraces. A reminiscent moment where the Beesotted crew recalled great terrace dittys .. and some not so great terrace dittys … and discussed the quality and originality of many of the olde skool tunes compared to todays songs - a hilarious throwback to when songs were original (or were they?)

Wigan came down to Griffin Park off the back of a win against Wolves. Brentford were buzzing after the 4-1 mauling of Reading.
However this was a little like after the Lord Mayors Show for Brentford. Wigan packed the midfield and a stalemate played out.

After the disappointment of Wolves, there was the elation of Reading - with Brentford turning around a 3-1 loss at Molineaux with a 4-1 victory against a Reading side who had not lost in 8 matches.
The Beesotted crew get together in their virtual boozer this week to discuss the week’s matches … as well as the September’s manager madness where Sam Allardyce finishes his tenure as England’s most successful manager with a 100% winning record. Where Derby have their ongoing manager farce - this time suspending Nigel Pearson for reasons we’re not sure why at the moment … and Dean Smith who (according to Dave) will be leaving for Aston Villa before the weekend.
To top that all off, we talk about QPRs Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink being implicated in the payment for players sting … alongside Tommy Wright from Barnsley and of course Massimo Cellino.
Then we chat bout the Wigan game - getting Worbo from Latics Speyk Wigan blog on the line.
All in all a good olde chinwag

Brentford were looking to avenge the 3-1 loss away to Wolves at the weekend. Meanwhile, Reading were flying - looking to get another victory under their belts.
After keeping Reading at bay, Brentford quickly turned the screw - hitting Reading with a clinical edge. Scoring four goals to see their West of London rivals off.
