  • 236: Terry Evans, Ijah Anderson and Marcus Gayle at the 1st Beesotted Social - Part 2

Part 2: Terry Evans, Ijah Anderson and Marcus Gayle join Brentford fans in the pub for the very first Beesotted social.

Wednesday night saw the launch of the very first Beesotted social - a series of events aimed at bringing Brentford fans together to drink beer and chat football with a bit of entertainment thrown in to boot.

And it was a cause for double celebration as one of Brentford’s most popular boozers - The Globe Pub on Windmill Rd - had just undergone a huge new refurb - opening their doors for the first time in nearly two weeks to host the event.

A great turn-out saw over sixty Bees fans in the house entertained with music from DJ Clive Johns before tuning into an “in conversation with” session with Brentford legends Terry Evans, Ijah Anderson and Marcus Gayle hosted by Billy Grant and Dave Lane from Beesotted.

The next social is penned in for Friday 16th December at an absolutely fabulous venue in Chiswick. Make sure you sign up at http://bit.ly/2dOKAQ4

  • 234: Booing, Sexism, Sackings plus a message from Martin Rowlands- QPR pre-match podcast

Brentford are without a win in four matches going into the big West London derby against QPR - winning only one match away from home so far this season.

Meanwhile, Rangers have lost only one of their last six league matches.

The last time Brentford won at Loftus Road was in 1964.

All the odds are pointing at an upset then. That would make Bees fans very happy.

The Beesotted crew found themselves on the edge of enemy territory … with the enemy - Paul from the QPR Podcast - hanging out at rather grand-looking Salutation Pub on King Street in Hammersmith discussing all sorts - Booing your own players. Sexist abusive language at football. When is it OK to sack a manager. Martin Rowlands and players who played for both teams.

Plus they discuss the big match on Friday night.
