It’s a BUMPER podcast this week as we go live live live. And chance to listen back to our podcast which broadcast LIVE on transfer deadline day.

It’s the madness they call transfer deadline day. Brentford have the problem of trying to compete with the Newcastles and the Aston Villas of the world in the transfer market - teams spending tens of millions of pounds trying to buy their way out of the Championship.

So where are the Bees at? They needed two or three players to add creativity to their side. They got couple - Rico Henry from Walsall and Sullay Kaikai from Crystal Palace. Is it enough?

The Beesotted crew assembled for their FIRST ever LIVE broadcast of the Beesotted Pride of West London podcast at One Over The Ait pub in Kew Bridge to discuss all the transfer day activity.

Two sides who play high possession football meet at Griffin Park. Two teams with a so-so start to the season. Time for Brentford to stamp their mark.

First half was like the Alamo. The Bees were lucky not to be 3-0 down at half time. Second half was more even with keeper Westwood gifting Brentford the first goal.

But deep into extra time Wednesday equalised.

So the cat is out of the bag - Alan Judge is talking to Newcastle with a view to transfer imminently. Only six months ago he was set for a move to Sheffield Wednesday which never materialised for reasons mentioned on the podcast.
