Brentford travelled to Yorkshire on the back of a two-match winning streak. Rotherham were on a two-match losing streak. 3 points were there for the taking.

But despite having 68% possession and 19 shots to Rotherham's 6 .. It wasn't to be. The second half was like the Alamo. Bees threw the kitchen sink at Rotherham. But just couldn't stick the ball in the back of the net.

What a difference a week makes. Two wins on the bounce and things are suddenly looking up for The Bees. Snuggled in 6th place, Brentford travel to Rotherham to try and extend their unbeaten run and go into the international break on a high.

The Beesotted crew were all chilled out as they met in The Distillers Pub, Hammersmith to discuss all manner of stuff.

They recalled their marmite players. Triggered by meeting Leo Sayer in the Griffin, they recalled their most surreal football moment and also laughed at some favourite 70s moments.

Plus ex winger Marcus Gayle gives us his #HangTheBeeJay moment - the tune that most reminded him of Brentford FC.

You know when Leo Sayer is in the pub, three points are in the bag. Bees started sprightly with Hogan putting them into the lead before the break.

Forest then hit back and would feel aggrieved at not getting at least a point from the game as they put the Bees under some serious pressure.

The sun was shining in Griffin Park. The Bees were looking to turn around two poor results taking on an Ipswich side full of confidence who had won their first league match 4-2.

With Nico Yennaris & Maxime Colin back in the side, there was more spring in the Bees' step as - after an iffy 1st 30 minutes - they controlled the game.
