The Big Boo Cast

Melanie and I recorded this week's episode late Tuesday night, and you will not be surprised to hear some significant audio issues in the back half (I left my headphones in Birmingham, I had to use my AirPods, and about 25 minutes in my AirPods microphone took over the recording part of the festivities). HOWEVER COMMA we have lots to share about our first couple of days in Dallas at Media Days (more to come on Patreon), and we're thrilled that we managed to record at all because, well, we're us.

True story: we would have re-recorded if time had allowed. It's rough going, so thank you in advance for your patience.

We also talk about an unexpected Cowboy sighting, and it's Melanie's turn for Five Favorites.

 Hope you enjoy!

Melanie and I were due for a catch-up when we recorded this week's episode, so we talk about what we did on the 4th of July, my latest Pilates adventures, and Melanie's commitment to watching The Chosen. I also share a run-down of the last few books I've read - because apparently reading is my job now.

In addition to all that, we share some of our thoughts about the most recent developments with Taylor and Travis, and it's my turn for Five Favorites.

Enjoy, y'all!

The sun is once again shining in Aggieland, and this week Melanie and I discuss their new head baseball coach as well as the stealthy nature of the coaching search. Plus, we catch up on our respective weekends (Mel went to the beach, I stayed in Birmingham) as well as what we've been watching and reading.

We also discuss some Dallas live show thoughts, and it's Mel's turn for Five Favorites.

 Hope you enjoy!

Well, IT HAS BEEN A WEEK for the Aggies. Melanie and I share some of our thoughts about the very unfortunate set of circumstances surrounding the departure of the A&M baseball coach, and we'll continue that discussion on Patreon. It's not just baseball on this episode, though; we discuss a couple of concerts I've attended this past week and talk about what we've been watching.

On top of all that, it's my turn for Five Favorites.

Enjoy, everybody!

Melanie and I are right down to the wire on this one - recording on Wednesday afternoon just a few hours before we release the episode - but this is what we needed to do so that Melanie could share a full account of her time with Caroline in Omaha. So we're talking about baseball, and some TV thoughts, and the fact that I went to see an actual movie in an actual theater. So many developments.

On top of all that, it's Melanie's turn for Five Favorites.

Hope you enjoy!

The Aggies are going to Omaha, so no one will be surprised to hear how much Melanie and I talk about that very thing in this week's episode. So much baseball. So many runs scored by walks. So much fun.

We also discuss some books I've recently read (and loved!), and it's my turn for Five Favorites.

Enjoy, y'all!

This episode is a college baseball-palooza, what with my attempts to make peace with the Bulldogs' outcome at the regionals and Melanie's recap of her trip to watch the Aggies play the Longhorns (which ended up being an unexpected encounter with an array of tiny Jesuses). Plus, I have some feedback about the announcing side of college baseball and lots of thoughts about a quality at-bat.

We also discuss a show we have both loved - as well as my impromptu trip to a fast food restaurant after a doctor's appointment - and it's Melanie's turn for Five Favorites.

Hope you enjoy!

The Shankles have been in Montana, the Hudsons have been in Hoover (at the SEC baseball tournament), and on this episode that means that Melanie and I have a lot of catching up to do. There have been outdoor adventures, there have been NCAA grievances, and there is a whole lot of college baseball to look forward to as the regionals get cranked up this weekend.

Also, I have cooked some meals, so I talk about that - and it's my turn for Five Favorites.

Enjoy, everybody!

This week Melanie listens patiently as I lament the projected college baseball regionals, and I listen with my mouth hanging open as Melanie shares a specific request P had for this past Friday's trash pick-up (no doubt, however, that it was certainly on-brand). In addition to those things, we discuss our shoe organization and the new season of Bridgerton.

Of course there's a kitchen / house update, and it's Melanie's turn for Five Favorites.

Right before we recorded this episode, I experienced a significant overtalking situation (to be clear, I was the one who was talking too much), so Melanie and I break down that unfortunate series of events before we discuss her time in College Station, our latest college baseball woes, and the most recent kitchen developments (so close! we're getting so close to the end!).

Plus, Melanie shares about a house she recently visited and loved, her new home furnishing goal, and it's my turn for Five Favorites.

Enjoy, everybody!
