Welcome back to the BWE Podcast!
Today's guest is an old friend of mine; one who I met 17 years ago at the NAIT gym as we laced up to get our pump on. From student to teacher, Mathew has pushed the boundaries of personal growth, business success, and has motivated and mentored thousands to become a more successful version of themselves. He is the founder and CEO of TRM (Trainer Revenue Multiplier), a company focused on helping personal fitness trainers earn more profit and grow their business.
It's been a while since I had a chance to talk to Matt about how life has changed since our iron pumping days in the 2004, but today we did just that.
Thanks for listening and we'll catch you next time!
Hello everyone and welcome to The BWE!
On this episode, I sat down with Lieutenant Eric, a producer with TSN 1260 radio in Edmonton, and talked his personal journey into and thru his career in radio. Although he is one half of the dynamic duo that is 'The Dustin Nielson Show', Lt. Eric has radio roots that trace back to his childhood. From listening to hockey games with his dad, to hosting a late night metal radio show; Lt. Eric shared some of his stories that brought him from Saskatoon to Edmonton and about what his radio career has been like thus far. This was a really great conversation that you don't want to miss.
Thank you to Lieutenant Eric for joining me on the show. I really enjoyed this talk and am grateful for the opportunity to share his story with you.
You can find him on Twitter, @Lieutenant_Eric and hear him on The Dustin Nielson Show, weekday mornings from 6AM to 10AM on TSN 1260 radio.
Until next time, thanks for listening!
Welcome to The BWE!
On today's episode, I am joined by RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) Chaplain Cyril Gowler and retired RCMP Sgt. Shayne Courtorielle to discuss mental health. The conversation centers around courage; how difficult it is to find and the important role it will play on your journey to a healthier you. As first responders, or support services for first responders, we've experienced abnormal and traumatic events. However, our reaction to those abnormal events are normal. You're not alone on your journey to recovery, we're working at it everyday. Yes, it means you'll be vulnerable. Yes, it means you'll need to be courageous. But you're not alone.
My sincerest thanks to Cyril and Shayne for joining me to discuss such an important issue.
Thanks for listening and I'll catch you next time!!
Welcome back to the BWE! On this episode, I chat with a friend of mine who I met in High Level back in 2012. Currently, he's an RCMP Officer in Leduc but previously, he worked for Skyreach as an usher for Oiler games and special events. Better known as the nicest guy you'll ever meet, Neil took some time to share some of those stories with us and talked about what it was like to meet Wayne Gretzky and the Moose! Imagine being able to lace up your skates and play shinny with George Laraque and Doug Weight; on Christmas Eve no less.
A big shout out to Mr. Clean for sitting down and sharing those memories with me!
See y'all next time.
