In this weeks episode we explore Darrens continued bohemian party life, Lee’s potential career path, Robocop remakes, Arnie’s Terminator delusions, Ivan Ritemans continued pressing of Ghostbusters 3 and throw in some remake recasting for good measure. Then after a desperate grab for some sponsorship we have another Profanasaurus entry from Jim Moon, we combine two segments of the show to present to you Superman IV: The Quest for Peace a film which asks the tough question about Supermans date rape potential and may see one regular contributor given their own wing of the Black Dog Bunker of Shun.

This week, join Lee & Darren as they travel through the exotic lands of Burger King, The Odeon Leicester Square and the Imperial Pub in Leicester Square to talk about Taken 2. Along the way they are joined by Laura and also two unexpected guests who joined the conversation purely to drown their sorrows with us. Not only do we discuss Taken 2, but we also plug a small horror festival, get the skinny on Looper and a few other noteworthy forthcoming horror movies.

This week we talk Apple’s magical repairing of Lee’s iPad, Darrens birthday celebrations and with the return of the 10 min spoiler zone, we talk Dredd 3D. Add to that some glue based profanasaurus from Jim Moon and a banjo plucking shitty superhero and you have the perfect lead in to this weeks Shit Covered Goggles film, John Boorman’s Zardoz

After a few weeks of interrupted service we’re back on track. Yet despite this format goes out of the window this week as Darren regales us with tales of exotic times spent in the north of the African continent, while Lee evokes colourful language describing his month of Apple product hell! All of which kind of kicks the format in the happy sacks, but fear not we do eventually get on track when Jim Moon takes control with his latest Profanasaurus and then the guys move on to talking about the Tony Scott / Tom Cruise cheese string of a movie Top Gun

In this episode, the current Mrs Barnard joins Lee & Darren to discuss their fairly uneventful week, Dick & Dom’s vaugely inappropriate behaviour in Hyde Park, Expendables 3, Unforgiven with Samurai and some little thing that happened on Sunday 19th August. Its probably not even worth mentioning that bit to be honest. Then after a rather stoney shitty superhero and Jim Moon teaching everyone how to Tractor Pull in his latest Profanasaurus entry. Lee, Darren and Laura wonder where you can get a taxi at this time of night, re reviewing Martin Scorsese’s 70s classic Taxi Driver.

The Black Dog Podcast returns this week with tales of Spanish wildlife, Darren’s dental issues, Maryland Cookies, Juicy Danglers, vomiting superheroes and a hypothetical cast list for The Expendables 3 through to 10. As well as all of this, the guys manage to get lost in the dark re-reviewing Vin Diesels début movie, the cult classic Pitch Black. Will it still shine like 50 menthol cools or will it need 50p for the meter to keep the lights on?

In this weeks show, Lee and Darren talk about their week and specifically Darrens wanking injury which he wants us to believe was a simple gardening strain. Afterwards we have some news (desperately ripping off The Bugle’s announcement style once again) before going in for another round of Shitty Superheroes and a rather bizarre entry in the Jim Moon Profanisaurus. After this we head on down to the Roadhouse to indulge in some heavy cheese medication and plenty of shots of Jeff Healy. Will the movie be shit kicker heaven or hell? Take a listen and find out.
