Quade Hiatt comes from a family of rodeo legends, and the 24-year-old from Canyon, Texas, is making his own mark on the ProRodeo world, qualifying for his first NFR in 2024.

Hiatt, grandson of the late 1980 World Champion Steer Wrestler Butch Myers and nephew to NFR qualifiers Cash and Rope, finished the 2024 ProRodeo season 15th in the world standings with $101,980.44 won on the year. Kincade Henry made his NFR debut in 2022 at just 20 years old and in his third PRCA season. With two qualifications under his belt, he's on the brink of his third sitting ninth in the 2024 world standings with $114,678.66 won on the year.

While Henry's had a rope in his hand nearly his entire life, there was a period in his childhood where baseball was his priority. On this episode of The Tie-Down Breakdown, Henry talks about his upbringing, how he started roping and the years he spent playing baseball instead.

Madison Outhier is the definition of cowgirl tough following a scary horse accident that saw her mare come over backwards on her in the asphalt parking lot at the Days of '47 Rodeo in Salt Lake City.

In an interview on The Breakdown Podcast, Outhier detailed the series of events that led to the fateful incident on July 18, 2024.

A broken collarbone, fractured ribs, a collapsed lung, and a lacerated liver were among the injuries Outhier sustained. Despite the severity she remained conscious following the accident, supported by fellow rodeo competitors who quickly came to her aid including Marty Yates and ICU nurse Tacy Webb.

Cole Clemons is staring down his first NFR qualification, and he's just a PRCA rookie.

Clemons, 20, is 12th in the 2024 PRCA world standings with $83,110.96 won on the year, and he also leads the Resistol Rookie of the Year race. The Florida native now living in Texas picked up the win at the Snake River Stampede in Nampa, Idaho, as well as a second-place finish at the Reno Rodeo back in June.

Reigning Breakaway World Champion Shelby Boisjoli-Meged clinched her first-ever Cheyenne Frontier Days Championship with a 3.7-second run on 2x Horse of the Year No Wimpy Turns, known as "Onna."

A $16,280 payday at Cheyenne broke the dry spell in Meged's summer run, which has seen her catch calves for small checks or "miss them for a lot of money." Meged says this win has given her confidence a boost—and she's ready to tackle the second half of the summer run.

As of Aug. 6, 2024, Meged is sitting No. 3 in the WPRA World Standings with $94,961.

Maddy Deerman's had a big summer run thus far and is currently sitting No. 6 in the World Standings with $65,479 won.

Deerman made a big statement in 2023 with her NFR Open win on bay gelding "Whopper."
