BREAKING: The Los Angeles County, CA Fire Department, under a memo from Fire Chief Anthony C. Marrone, mandates flying the Progress Pride Flag (PPF) at all fire departments during June 2025 for LGBTQ+ Pride Month. Order sent to all Chief Officers at all sites by Fire Chief Anthony C. Marrone states "I want to be intentional and clear that compliance is not optional at our Department facilities."
Per the order, fire captains must ensure PPF display, report damage, and store flags after June, with non-compliance risking discipline. Only U.S., California, and PPF flags are permitted.
Critics argue only U.S. and California flags should fly at government facilities, claiming the PPF prioritizes one group and conflicts with religious values.
CALL TO ACTION: Contact https://fire.lacounty.gov/pctr-2/ to oppose and tell them to TAKE DOWN THE FLAG.

On May 13, 2025, a federal court in the Southern District of California granted a preliminary injunction against the Encinitas Union School District, requiring parental notification and opt-outs for gender ideology lessons in "buddy classes." The lawsuit, filed by First Liberty Institute and the National Center for Law & Policy in September 2024, stemmed from a May 2024 incident at La Costa Heights Elementary, where fifth graders were required to read My Shadow is Pink—a book about a boy exploring gender identity—and discuss it with kindergarteners, an activity that conflicted with the religious beliefs of two families. After the district denied the parents’ requests for notice and opt-outs, the court ruled that compelling students to support views against their faith violates the First Amendment, noting the buddy program’s mandatory role in the curriculum. Dean Broyles of the National Center for Law & Policy stressed schools’ duty to inform parents, while Kayla Toney of First Liberty Institute pledged to continue protecting children from such lessons. The full decision is available online.

XX-XY Athletics is the only brand standing up for female athletes and the protection of women’s sports.
All the other big athletic brands out there claim to champion female athletes but are either silent on the subject of males entering women’s sports or, in fact, on the wrong side of the issue. XXXY believes that women and girls deserve their own sports and spaces, safety, privacy and fairness.

Connor Boyack joins Britt to explore the transformation of education, the legacy of the Great American Experiment, and the vital role of family in shaping critical thinking and entrepreneurial mindsets in children.
Connor shares his journey from finding traditional education uninspiring to creating the Tuttle Twins series, which simplifies complex ideas through storytelling.
They critique the declining U.S. education system, noting only 13% of eighth graders are proficient in American history and a 40-year trend of mediocrity. The discussion highlights the need for educational reform, competition, and decentralization, emphasizing homeschooling and parental involvement as key solutions.
They also reflect on historical truths, like the Sedition Act and the founding fathers’ conflicting views, to underscore government overreach and the shifting Overton window, and the need for parents to actively participate in their children's education to prepare them for the future.
