Chicago White Sox rookie pitcher Shane Smith was amazing in his second big-league start against the Cleveland Guardians. He had a no-hitter going up until the sixth inning. Mike Clevinger still cannot throw strikes. He ruined Smith's good outing by walking in the game-winning run.

Then the White Sox have brought back Brandon Drury. He had a great spring training and would be on the roster had he not injured his thumb. However, the Sox might not need him unless he can hit for power at DH.

Finally, former Sox reliever Octavio Dotel tragically passed away. On this week's Wayback Wednesday segment, host Todd Welter goes over a player that every team wanted, and the Sox were able to get good two season from him.
