The Chicago White Sox took a shortstop with their first pick and Luis Robert Jr. had an early exit in the derby. The Sox chose Jacob Gonzalez from Ole Miss with the 15th pick. Through the first two rounds of the MLB draft, the White Sox took six pitchers, a pair of outfielders and a catcher. The draft ends on Tuesday. Sox slugger, Luis Robert Jr., flexed the power and put on a show in the first round of the homerun derby in Seattle but ran out of gas in the semi-final.
