The Cliff's Edge Podcast

Welcome to the Cliff’s Edge Podcast with your host Ciaran McConnell.

December 20th 1968 Lake Herman Road, David Farraday and Betty Lou Jensen are brutally shot and murdered by an unknown assailant who would become better known to the world as the Zodiac killer. To this day countless theories exist as to the identity of the man who pulled the trigger on several occasions and used a knife at least once on his unsuspecting victims.

Joining our host Ciaran McConnell on this episode is the host of the Black Box Online Radio and expert on the Zodiac Killer, Nick Denham.

Welcome to the Cliff's Edge podcast with your host Ciaran McConnell.

The Swinging sixties are well under way in London town, however as night falls a terrifying crime spree has begun with the murders of over half a dozen women and nobody has been apprehended.

Today's episode covers the rather obscure and unsolved case of the 60's Ripper. Despite the crimes taking place in the same city as Jack the Ripper's did, and there being more victims the case has garnered very little attention. But thankfully brilliant authors like Robin Jarossi have released books about the crimes that make sure that these crimes will not be forgotten. The aforementioned Robin joins me on today's episode to give us all a brilliant insight to details of this obscure case.

Welcome to the Cliff’s Podcast with your host Ciaran McConnell.

This episode marks the first in the history of our podcast. There has been an update in the case of Tnaya Lee Glover. A 61-year woman has been arrested in Brisbane called Vanessa Lee Turner. In this update Ciaran will review the case as we know it, give us the update on the suspect and the charges and play an excerpt of the press conference held by Brisbane police.

You may remember as far back as episode 4 when Ciaran was joined by crime Reporter Anna Houlihan to discuss the murder of Tanya Lee Glover. You can find that episode https://shows.acast.com/irelands-vanishing-triangle/episodes/tanya-lee-glover.

This week on "The Cliff's Edge" podcast, we discuss the bizarre case of the Sumida John Does. The dismembered torsos of 2 men were found not far from each other in the same area of Sumida City Japan known as Kotobashi. Are the cases related, or pure coincidence? Were the killings done by the same person? Tune into this week's podcast where I discuss my theories with my special guest this week, Robbie.

Sandra's brother Patrick Collins joins us to discuss his sister's case. Sandra was first reported missing back in December of the year 2000 and justice was yet to be served on her cowardly killer.

Sandra's sister Mary Collins Dempsey like the aforementioned Patrick has campaigned relentlessly for the justice in this case.

We thank both of them for the help they have given us over the years.

Joining Ciaran McConnell for today's episode is writer and podcaster Jim Cornelius from Frontiers Partisans to cover a case from the Wilds of the American West. Jim gives an excellent insight into Claude Dallas, a self proclaimed outlaw, who became the 400th person to be added to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List. Is he a hero who stood up to authority? Or is he a cold blooded killer that belongs in prison?

Although Claude Dallas' heyday was in the 1980s his story is more like something out of frontier times.

Check out these links. As always thanks for listening.
