  • The Family: Talking about things nobody watches - #2577

TV news viewership is at record lows but their profits are at record highs. How is this possible? If we knew, we'd probably be doing it. Instead we're watching entire series of British TV shows, which takes us about 15 minutes. Then we spend the rest of our free time cooking burgers incorrectly.

  • The Family: Plane pain, lame names, and a deer that became maimed - #2576

Grandparents being involved in their grandkids' lives seems to be a generational and cultural thing. If your grandpa had such bad PTSD that he couldn't be trusted around kids, that's a bad indicator. On the other hand, in some cultures it's not unusual to put your parents in a suite on the third floor. Probably a lot of spending time with the kids in those households. The real difficulty is less spending time and more picking a name.

  • The Family: Consumption be done about all this hatred of one another? - #2575

There's not so great news in the financial world, bad news over in the Middle East, and you're ten over par. What's to be done? How about some jokes? Apparently the "joke-o-phone" used to be a thing. Maybe we'll bring it back.

  • The Family: The era of Crossfit and hot chips is ending - #2574

Remember when making fun of people for talking about Crossfit was all the rage? Not any more. It's been forgotten. Much like in a few years we'll all hopefully forget about companies dousing everything in pepper spray. If a nice pastrami sandwich doesn't have enough flavor for you, that's a "you" problem.

  • The Family: Driving under the influence of milk and salad - #2573

Legal quiz: what happens if you hit someone with your car while under the influence? The correct answer, as is always the case with law, is "it depends". In this case it apparently depends on how much the judge likes you. To be safe, we recommend not drunk driving at all. We don't even recommend drinking highly sugary coffee drinks, because spitting it out could impede your vision.
