As the period of mourning extends into its first week, we ask what hope, if any does the Australian Republican Movement of convincing the majority of Australians to reject a constitutional monarchy. The death of QEII also created concerns about freedom of speech with attempts to silence and punish anyone who spoke out about her. There should be no limits to free speech. In sport, the footy finals are upon us.
The Two Jacks ask if Twitter is good for journalism or if its left orientation has created a thought bubble. Is the four day working week here? And how do we fix Australia's low literacy and numeracy rates in schools? The opponents for the AFL Grand Final are now sorted with the Cats comfortably defeating the Lions and the Swans beating Collingwood by a solitary point. In the NRL, jack predicts the Eels might go all the way provided they can get over the Cowboys and then the Panthers.
HK and JTI discuss the clash between journalism and the courts when unsolved murders are explored by journalists. Using Hedley Thomas's Teacher's Pet and the consequent conviction of Chris Dawson for the murder of his wife, Lyn as an example, HK Jack takes a lawyer's view while JTI argues that without Hedley Thomas, Chris Dawson would not have had his moment of reckoning. Meanwhile, the Libs are in crisis as they go through polling limbo. How far can they go? The Jobs and Skills Summit is a partial win for employers and a partial win for the union movement.
Yes, the Queen is dead at the suspiciously tender young age of 96 years old. Was she already dead? Was she alive enough to be killed again? Either way, the reptilian alien Lizzie the Lizard has eaten her last baby. What a shame.
Yes, cookers are losing it and conservatives are falling over themselves to be the saddest person in the bunch. Just wait till they hear what King Charles thinks about climate channge!
It's gonna be a real mess.
We also take pleasure in hearing Steve Bannon is in deep shit and in SovCits you're either in or out - don't half arse the pseudolegal gibberish or you'll be thrown out of the club.
Pete's boring again. But Babet was very funny.
Enjoy!
This week, we spend some time on unique witchy freedom fighter, Lizzie Rose!
We will head down into the tunnels to see what Dan Andrews has really been up to, find out how Lizzie solved a mystery in Sale and get an update on what she's up to now.
The Two Jacks have an extended discussions on the astonishing news of Scott Morrison's five - count 'em, five self appointed secret ministries. We take a look at the Job Summit coming up in September and wonder why Peter Dutton's Libs won't be attending. In sport, Carlton finish the season on a low note from which JTI is s till recovering, Essendon's week from hell rolls into a fortnight and it is all the club not the coach's fault. In cricket, JTI asks ponders that even the shortest form of the game makes it more boring.
We are finally looking at The Great Reset - the ideological bogeyman of the conpsiracy universe. Is Klaus Schwab evil? No. But he is a raging capitalist? Yes. Does he want you to eat bugs? No. Is Ralph Babet an idiot? Yes.
Unfortunately The Great Reset is a huge topic and Joel has done way too much research into it - so this one is part 1 of several. In this episode we get around the idea of eating crickets and how completely misunderstood it is, but also go over the basics of the WEF, Schwab's take on 'stakeholder capitalism' and a vague outline of what it's all about.
A lot of flesh out in this one and much more to come!
P.S. in an example of 'I absolutely could not have said it better myself' there's a two part series on the WEF/Great Reset which is VERY worth listening to - Here's the link
https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/lets-go-to-davos-part-one-wef-great-reset-what-is-it/id1629532988?i=1000574553577
They cover just about everything I would want to know about the conspiracy theory including fleshing out the players behind the absurd push to demonise Schwab.
I'm gonna do more parts because more cooks simply makes a better broth - but this two parter just absolutely nails it.
Enjoy!
Scott Morrison has been the secret Minister for Everything but was it legal? The two Jacks discuss the Packer emails and congratulate him for his poisoned pen. A terrible double murder of two women in Sydney leads police to claim the rule book has been thropwn out. JTI says it hasn't been around for a long time. EVs are coming whether HK jack likes it or not and in the footy, the final round of the home and away season promises to be a belter.
A huge week for cookers with Dave Oneegs getting a lawyer who comes with a little bit of a history. Avi Yemini is denied entry to New Zealand and uses the opportunity to grift money from idiots while Rukshan is pretty much completely ignored despite also being involved. Eric Trump takes a selfie which casually includes some very sensitive information. Why? Because he is an idiot.
This week we are doing the new format - no rabbit hole! Just news, sponsor/BPFW, SovCits v The Man and TWIPE. Or, Deej and Titles as it turns out.
It's a fun episode that went way longer than planned. Hope you enjoy listening as much as we did recording it. Good times and some very nice tins.
This week Jack looks at the bizarre behaviour of Scott Morrison and looks at his motivations for being the minister for everything. Cookers think it's all part of a WEF agenda because they are incredibly stupid.
We also have a quick check in on cookers at the start. They have not been idle. Maybe protesting outside a childrens hospital was a bad idea?
Are we the bad guys? Yes. You are the bad guys. But don't let us interrupt you having a good time. WHY ARE THERE SO MANY AMBULANCES?!?

Welcome to The Conditional Release Program, a podcast that delves into the netherworld of cults, crims and con artists.
Who would have thought a spicy chest cough would turn everyone so…
Our weekly show covers the conspiracy theorists that created a 'shadow pandemic' of political idiocy and violent ideation within the fringe of politics.
From time to time we get our hands even dirtier with true crime deep dives. Jack is a seasoned expert in the true crime genre, having written and spoken extensively about Roger Rogerson, Stan 'the man' Smith and, of course, the Fine Cotton Fiasco. In various episodes he guides us through the dark underbelly of Australian crime in his trademark storytelling style.
The world is getting weird and we are getting weird with it. Let's watch as democracy crumbles into a smouldering heap - and take note of the kids carrying the matches and the metho.
Hosted by Jack the Insider and Joel Hill with an occasional rotation of guests that generally share our distaste toward the lunatic fringe.
