In this week's episode we review the Victorian state election and marvel at all conquering Dan Andrews who looks like he won't lose a seat in this election following the stonking Danslide in 2018. The Liberals have gone backwards and have demographic challenges everywhere.
HK Jack calls for renewal and federal intervention but that's not so easy in the Liberal party structure.
Albo has a win on IR but his anti-corruption commission is still up for negotiation in the Senate.
Protests in Shanghai, poverty in Sri Lanka and is the state of pandemic emergency over in the US?
We also look long and hard at FIFA and the Qatar tournament.
When all has failed, what is left for the freedom loyalists? They’ll go back to their friends and family and the lives they were leading before all of this happened.
Not so quick.
When you’re in deep and the world no longer looks or feels the way it did before, that is simply not an option.
In today’s episode we will discuss what is next and ponder where this is all leading to…
Victoria is the leading state when it comes to cookers and they've turned a fairly ordinary state election into a circus. A superbowl of stupidity. A farce of fuckwits.
We look at the results and what the kids have been saying online. So how are they taking the loss? Not well.
It's all about the election this week! But we still give you a bit of goss about Pete and Zippy at the end, bless.
Enjoy!
The Two Jacks dig deep on the Midterm results and determine that Trump, described in the New York Post as a "Florida retiree" and "avid golfer" after his announcement to run in 2024, is cooked as a political heavyweight.
HK Jack believes he may not even make it into the primaries. JTI thinks he will but until then the donation grift has to keep rolling. HK Jack points to the number of nuclear reactors set to be built around the world, many of which are in China.
JTI looks at the new nuclear reactors in the state of Georgia and lays out the huge cost overruns being borne by the state's taxpayers with lengthy delays in construction.
In local politics, we preview the Victroian state election while in sport, has cricket's 50 over format had its day?
This week we are back to normal programming with a full episode - we look at the US midterms in the news and then have a look and see how the American Front Line Doctors are going. Turns out, it's a bit scammy at the top. Who'dathunkit!?!?
Cooker update looks at the invasion of the Aboriginal Tent Embassy with "some real 1788 coloniser shit" when antivaxxers waited till the caretaker went to get some food and decided it was deserted. Pure sovcit logic right there.
In Pete we look at the collapse of FTX. Turns out it was being used to fund child sex trafficking because of course it was. Only because SBF is a democrat, of course!
Enjoy!
As Trump announces his candidacy for 2024, the Two Jacks sift through the mid term results and declare Trump unelectable. More so, if the Republicans can't remove his influence from the party, they remain at risk of splitting. Meanwhile, the UK is looking at a long and enduring recession and the EU is following, although economists believe Europe's recession will not last as long. Is Brexit at work in the UK economy? Albo meets Xi and Australia and Indonesia combine to solve the world's lithium shortage. In Sport, there are too many world cups on offer but we mention four.
This is a trailer! For as little as $5 a month, get this and all the rest. There's some decent stuff up there!

We have a look at the US midterms where (at time of recording) many pivotal cooker contests were still in play.
Did Boebert get elected? We still don't know. But she's now ahead so that sucks.
Lots to look at in the midterm where the republicans attempted to weaponise insanity and may have come short as a result.
Very lazy uploading this trailer - this is last weeks premium episode!

Heaps to discuss this week - we should have bunged in a bit about Kyrie Irving but we hit an hour just on these topics.
Elon Musk is a jerk and killing twitter and his posting of a conspiracy theory around the attack on Paul Pelosi all but confirms his terrible intention for the platform.
OANN - the network that aired ABSOLUTE PROOF has gone under. Good.
And a new documentary coming out about a NZ cult named Gloriavale is looking very interesting!
The Patreon Two Jacks (around the world) and the main feed Two Jacks (hard hats and high viz) are now one - combined! And so it shall be from here onwards.
The Two Jacks has been in hiding recently due to some issues with some files. They were on a USB stick that was sent to Abu Dhabi and Jack was tasked with going to find it. Jack is a lazy man, and thought it a tedious journey so we got some saudi death robots to get the job done.
Those episodes are a bit stale now, so we are going to put them up on the Patreon. If you want a shitload of recent two jacks goodness, head over to

and give us some money. Otherwise, we will kick off from here!
----------------------------------------------------
Americans got to the polls to determine the make-up the Congress. It looks like the GOP might snatch control over both Houses but that is entirely normal in recent US political history. Cop27 begins in Cairo and Rishi Sunak and his incredibly shiny shoes have made their debut on the international stage. Outspoken critics of Putin in Russia continue to suffer mysterious injuries. Meanwhile in Australia, Tony Burke's IR legislation relies on Senator Pocock to get through and the Two Jacks preview state elections in Victoria and NSW. In Sport, a clash between India and Pakistan beckons in the T-20 World Cup Final.
It's time for part 2 of our look at Ida Auken's essay 'Welcome to 2030. I own nothing, have no privacy, and life has never been better.'
It's a weird article that should never have existed. While a lot of it is based on projections from the WEF that include emerging technologies and governmental trends - it reads like a goddamn policy. In reality, it's just a bizarre short story by a Danish MP that sought to warn people of a potential future - but also get herself a bit of attention at the WEF. Classic 'top marks at school' type behaviour.
Anyway now it's the basis for a million conspiracy theories and the 'you'll own nothing and be happy' line is wheeled out by idiots like Ralph Babet and Malcolm Roberts whenever it suits them.
Of course, instead of discussing how they would legislate to limit the possiblity of this dystopian future, they just bitch, moan and carry on like idiots because it makes them popular in dunce circles.
Anyway, we had to cut the first part short cause it was getting super long - go back a couple weeks if you haven't heard part 1 cause it's a direct continuation!
Enjoy!

Welcome to The Conditional Release Program, a podcast that delves into the netherworld of cults, crims and con artists.
Who would have thought a spicy chest cough would turn everyone so…
Our weekly show covers the conspiracy theorists that created a 'shadow pandemic' of political idiocy and violent ideation within the fringe of politics.
From time to time we get our hands even dirtier with true crime deep dives. Jack is a seasoned expert in the true crime genre, having written and spoken extensively about Roger Rogerson, Stan 'the man' Smith and, of course, the Fine Cotton Fiasco. In various episodes he guides us through the dark underbelly of Australian crime in his trademark storytelling style.
The world is getting weird and we are getting weird with it. Let's watch as democracy crumbles into a smouldering heap - and take note of the kids carrying the matches and the metho.
Hosted by Jack the Insider and Joel Hill with an occasional rotation of guests that generally share our distaste toward the lunatic fringe.
