There is 71% chance of Gold closing above $4,000 at the end of the year. I am not convinced and think there is too much conviction on this. I like the ‘no’ aspect to hedge against my physical holdings.

We have seen gold surpass $4,000 but that does not mean that it will close the year out at +$4,000. Go and check out the market for yourself.

When will the US Government shutdown end?

The last government shutdown went on for 35 days and only ended only after US air travel was on the verge of massive disruption. That was only a partial shutdown too!

Using 35 days as a barometer and the fact that it is a full shutdown at the time of writing, a 38% chance of the current shutdown ending on 15th October or afterwards seems quite compelling!
