Hello everybody we'd like you all to just sit back and relax and take a listen to what our brother John is up to.  He has a lot going on and he took the time out in his busy schedule to visit with us and catch us up on everything.  We have "Global" coming out and John is with us on that project so he's got a lot happening since he left the Beach Boys.

Hello from the road!!  We just wrapped up Ohio and Michigan and coming this weekend we have New Jersey and West Virginia.  We talk about this and that mostly that.  We will start having guests again next week everybody.  Hope you all are having a great autumn we're playing two autumn festivals this coming week!!

Well the Happy Together Tour has come to an end for another summer.  It was quite dramatic and you will enjoy the recounting of what happened at the Minnesota State Fair as we take you right through the end with the Washington State Fair show and a fun recap of the shows that ended our 10th consecutive summer tour.  We will be going out again next summer and they're even adding 10 more shows!  Enjoy the episode and we look forward to having many guests in future episodes and this podcast train is going to keep on rolling!!!

Hello everyone we have only 6 days left on our summer Happy Together Tour!!!  Wow!  No guest today but we share some great stories.  You can find out who started the bus fire on the band's tour bus and who is credited for saving everyone's lives.  We also explain why Howard Stern still doesn't like us and won't talk with us.  I guess we're in a long feud.  Also we address our "forced" night off at a casino in Michigan because they don't like "Indian Lake" and they don't like us.  Even our family band is banned from playing there.  Okay everybody have a great end of summer see you next week!!!

Hello everyone from Zydeco land. We're back with our first guest in a while Grammy award winning artist Terrance Simien. We hope you enjoy this journey down an alternate genre that's out there for all to enjoy.  Terrance is actually going to be performing at the Minnesota State Fair a couple of hours before our show at the Fair on August 26th so you'll be able to catch both of us on one day if you're in the area enjoy the episode!!

Hello everybody!!  We had a great weekend in Friday Harbor, Washington and are now heading to Boston and returning to the Happy Together Tour.  We'll get back to our normally scheduled programming next week but thought it would be fun to re-highlight our visit with Steve Van Zandt.  Little Stevie has a lot going on with his new book, his history with the Soprano's, his brand new documentary, his return to The E Street Band touring with the Boss, and his visit with The Cowsills on "The Cowsills Podcast"!!  Please enjoy a return to our visit with Steve and even if you heard it the first time you should listen again because you will hear things you missed during your first listen!  See you all out there!


Today's guest is Steven van Zandt, also known as Little Steven or Miami Steve. Steve is an American singer, songwriter, musician, producer, actor, activist, author, and member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He is best known as a member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, in which he plays guitar and mandolin. He is also known for his roles in several television series, Van Zandt has his own solo band called Little Steven and The Disciples of Soul.

The Cowsills are so excited to be talking to the great Steve Van Zandt. The group discuss the different worlds of the teenage rock years and the bar band rock years, we find out if he came to see The Cowsills' show at The Cutting Room by accident, and how he deals with inevitable disappointment and how to move forward.
