The Cowsills Podcast

Hi everyone....Omnivore Recordings released our album "The Cocaine Drain" recently and we have our guest, Dennis Castanares, visiting with us today. Dennis was a member of The Cowsills during the recording of The Cocaine Drain. Dennis shares his memories of those sessions and working with us and producer Chuck Plotkin.  Great stories hope you enjoy the episode.

Hi everyone.  Well you may or may not know Susan is on the Big Easy cruise doing her solo thing (she's our Neil Young) so Paul and I take over the airwaves without her.  Plenty of guests coming. Hope you all enjoy the visit!

The holidays threw everything into overdrive, so this week there’s no guest—but instead, you get something even better: a real behind-the-scenes look at how this show actually runs. We’re taking you inside one of our latest team meetings to break down the logistics of life on the road, the challenges we face, and how we keep everything moving when things get hectic.
It’s a rare, unfiltered glimpse into the engine behind the show—and we think you’ll love this unique perspective.

We've received a lot of feedback about what a great great visit we had with Leland Sklar and what a great story he shared.  I would imagine there's not one person reading this that can say they were seriously mistaken for Santa Claus by a four year old.  We're just having a nice visit this week hope you enjoy the commentary lots of guests coming stay tuned

Hello everybody this week is such a special treat because we get to have a visit with the great renowned bass player Leland Sklar.  Leland has played bass for Phil Collins, Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor and too many others to mention.  You've seen him everywhere ...the Bearded Wonder. It's a long episode but there was a lot to cover and it's all fascinating and grade A material ...just a fantastic story hope you enjoy it.
