In today's episode Garrett is learning for what feels like the first time the importance of going with the flow. He was never taught that life could be relaxing, and so he's felt more comfortable in the hustle and grind of life, going to war with his wife and at work than being in a state of peace and prosperity. It wasn't until he made the realization while paddle boarding that even though he felt more stable going against the current, he was able to cut his time coming back to the coast going with the current in half. Even though it wasn't as comfortable of an experience because there wasn't any resistance, it taught him an invaluable lesson on learning how to relax into an abundant mindset.

How often do we experience something that we know we have the skills sets for but we undervalue what we're capable of doing because our mindsets cause us to hesitate? That was the case for Garrett during his surf session while on his family trip to Maui experiencing very different waves that he had been stressing about only to realize he was better than he thought. Sometimes the greatest obstacle we end up facing is to learn how to get out of our own way.

In today's episode Garrett is beginning his longest family vacation in Maui with his wife and kids. He fully grasps the irony behind the chaos that he's filling within with one trigger after another while dwelling in paradise, yet it is also teaching him a lot of important lessons within himself that even with all that he's progressed in, there are still a lot of areas that he needs to work on within himself, especially in regards to the Balance quadrant within the Core 4 regarding family.

In today's episode Garrett had one of his best surfing sessions hitting a wave three times, told by his surfing coach Mo that when he stops thinking and just goes, he's going to have a better experience every time. The moment he stopped getting in his own way and stopped overthinking, Garrett was able to have a better experience out on the ocean. He then likened this to how he approached sex and business systems, both of which he overthought and allowed fear instead of courage to have certainty in doing what feels right to occur instead of allowing doubt and insecurity to creep in.
