This is a sermon I delivered on Mark 6 and 8). Jesus feeds the multitudes twice. Why did He do it twice? And why did He initially tell His disciples "you give them something to eat?" Did He really expect them to feed 5,000? And why did they pick up 12 and 7 baskets of leftovers? Are the numbers significant? The passages are full of interesting questions that lead to a dynamic conclusion. A conclusion that is quite meaningful for us today as well!

This is a sermon I delivered on Luke 9, 10, 22 titled "Sheep among wolves." in Luke 22 Jesus challenges His disciples with their call to the mission field by reminding them that it was pretty easy when He sent them out earlier (Luke 9, 10). But now, Jesus says, it will not be easy!!

This is a sermon I delivered on Luke 6. If we follow the commands of Jesus it might well mean that our businesses are not as prosperous! But that is part of surrendering all for the sake of the Kingdom!

This is a sermon I delivered on Luke 6 and Jesus' command to love your enemies. Why is it that this most popular command of Jesus is so hard? Why is it that most Christians can recite the two great commands, yet we don't do them very well? And What does it mean to actually love your enemy?

This is a sermon I delivered on a series in the book of Acts. I address Acts 10-11 and Peter's hesitation to eat with Gentiles and the Jerusalem Church's anger with him for doing so. Then I address all the radical changes the early Christians faced with the new movement: they can eat with Gentiles; they can eat forbidden food; no more passover celebrations; Church is on Sunday; etc. Change is what it means to become a Christian (repentance means "to change one's mind") and what it means to be a Christian (we should be constantly changing into the likeness of Christ). Yet, most churches and many Christians resist change!
