We answer the question of whether men hold the perceptions of other men in higher regard over that of the women around them. We wrap up the Pod with a discussion around the viral video of a woman who is alleged to have wanted to pay for an uber with sexual favors.

On this episode of #TheDojo, sans Modise, we kick things of discussing the passing of musician Tokollo Tshabalala, member of the iconic group TKZ. We talk about his contributions, influence and impact in the industry. We give an update on King Misuzulu Zulu's coronation and the drama that occurred leading up to his entering of the kraal ceremony. We briefly mention the conviction on fraud charges for UIF TERS scammer. We debate whether it was unethical for a teacher to post provocative photos on a public social media platform, leading to a conversation about our perception biases and how we as a society in many circumstances make illogical decisions based on our perceptions. We wrap up the pod dissecting at length the allegations by musician Moneoa of getting swindled and abused by her ex boyfriend.

We are back with another season of #TheDojo Podcast and on this first episode, we kick things off with catching up at length with what we have been up to during the break. We digress a bit to discuss tech aversion amongst our people and how that is setting back the development of our economy. After the pleasantries, we get right into the discussion of the police sweep of arrests in Krugersdorp, resulting from a gruesome attack and rape of 8 women who were shooting a video in the area. We briefly touch on the Zulu Kings coronation, and speculate on the drama that will occur now that the date has been announced. We debate the merits of the levy being proposed to help SABC collect better on tv licenses. We ponder on adoption and what it means in our cultural and traditional context. Which leads to a nuanced chat around care of kids in the adoption system, baby boxes, abortions, preservation of life and the male contraceptive. We clarify our tweet about kids made "Thoteng" and answer the accusation that we are sympathizers to deadbeats.  

On this final episode of season 11, recorded midweek, we kicked things off lamenting on the recent bouts of stage 6 loadshedding implemented by Eskom, we theorize on the sabotage of Eskom and the comfortability of SA'ns that hinders them from doing anything about the current state of affairs. We move on to discuss the Enyobeni tavern tragedy where at least 20 kids died. We update on the overturning of Roe v Wade and the claims that it was essentially overturned to preserve white life. We give our two cents on a TL matter where a baby mama is bought a car as a gift from the father of her child and we ponder whether she should accept the gift or not considering that she has boyfriend. We close of the discussions with a chat about the dating pool and we wrap up the season giving thanks to listeners for holding us down.

BONUS EPISODE: For Youth day #TheDojo decided to give the platform to the youth to ponder on the issues that affect them. Featuring our resident youth correspondent Amigo baby and his accomplice Donaldo, they speak on why the youth doesn't vote, share their opinions on the political landscape of our country and how that is affecting them. They let us in into their dreams, aspirations and how being raised by women has shaped them. They share their thoughts on Youth Day, what the holiday means to them and what they would like the day to be. They round the pod off with discussions around dating as a youth, relationships and sex.
