Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by offering his thoughts on yesterday’s shooting in Philadelphia, in which multiple were shot during a celebration of Ramadan. Dom underlines the great work by police in the horrific situation, telling listeners how City officials reacted. Then, Dom plays back a clip of Trump, who hugged a supporter during a trip to Georgia, noting how he’d like to see more of this soft side of Trump, noting how far relatability can further his chances in the upcoming election.
Then, Dom welcomes Professor Alan Dershowitz back onto the Dom Giordano Program after news broke of the passing of OJ Simpson, who passed away at 76 after a battle with cancer. Dershowitz, who defended OJ Simpson in what may be considered the most famous trial of all time, takes us inside the trial, explaining why to this day he still believes OJ may have been framed. Then, Dershowitz takes us behind the scenes, explaining what Simpson was like on a personal level. Also, Alan comments on other topics, including Larry David’s final season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, and the change of tone by Democrats on the Gaza conflict.
After hanging up with Dershowitz, Dom tells that another whale has washed ashore, which leads producer Dan to read back a statement from President of Protect Our Coasts New Jersey, Robin Schaffer, who demands answers for the repeated death and the potential connection to offshore windmills.
