Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by offering up his opinion and a preview of tonight’s Senate debate between Dr. Mehmet Oz and John Fetterman. Dom lays forth the setup of the debate, telling that ABC27 and PHL17 will have live transcriptions offered to Fetterman to compensate for auditory processing issues as a result of his stroke. Dom previews the topics that should be discussed, and why crime should be the main topic on Oz’s mind going into the debate. Then, Dom revisits a topic from yesterday, telling that Catholic Schools have been largely spared from the learning loss that public schools saw, further suggesting that the overbearing COVID edicts in public education are at fault for what we’re seeing with the Nation’s children. Then, Giordano hones in on the Democratic strategy to reframe the narrative around inflation, playing back clips from Democrats who are now trying to minimize the spike in inflation, particularly Matthew Dowd on MSNBC comparing those who care about inflation to those that supported Nazism in Germany.

Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss what he’s been doing in the City of Chester to reduce violent crime by up to 60%. First, Giordano and Stollsteimer discuss the methodology behind the drop in crime, discussing in-depth the ‘carrot and stick’ approach of focused deterrence employed by officials in Chester to cut down on a burgeoning criminal element. Then, Stollsteimer comments on the strength of multiple folds of government working together, telling how it becomes a force multiplier when you bring multiple agencies together to formulate safety.

Dom welcomes Beth Ann Rosica, Executive Director of Back to School PA PAC, back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a continued beef she’s had with the West Chester School District over an ‘OutFest,’ which was cancelled after alleged ‘hate and vitriol directed toward the event and organizers.’ Rosica, using a Right to Know request, was able to find out about the event and expose it, and also gained access to the alleged emails that were ‘hateful,’ which the emails were clearly not. Rosica reads back some examples of the email, contrasting that with the headlines of how the story was reported, exposing the twisting of the narrative presented by West Chester officials, telling that she’s asked for a retraction from local media sources that ran with the story as ‘hate-filled.’ (Photo by Getty Images)

Dom Giordano, WPHT host and former teacher, has dedicated much of his daily show toward parents who are taking it into their own hands to push back against school boards that have a negative impact on their children. This has culminated in a weekly podcast on education, Readin', Writin', and Reason, which has allowed wonderful relationships to develop between Giordano, educators, and parents throughout the country who are speaking out against overbearing school boards.

First, Dom welcomes Clarice Schillinger of BackToSchoolUSA back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss what she's been up to since running for Pennsylvania's Attorney General. Dom and Clarice discuss the importance of lower level political races such as school board, with Clarice telling that she plans to put her money where her mouth is and run for her local school board.

Then, Dom welcomes back Megan Brock, a mom from out in Bucks County, who along with other parents continues their crusade to understand what’s being done inside schools, particularly centered on Coronavirus lockdowns. Today, Brock presented in Harrisburg to State Senate a new bill for parental rights along with State Senator and Gubernatorial Candidate Doug Mastriano. Brock tells about the new bill presented by the State Senator, stressing the necessity for transparency from both the State government and local school boards when determining decisions on curriculum and lockdowns.

Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes Linda Cruz and William Murray, siblings of recent 50-year-old homicide victim Charles Gossett, who was murdered after his murderer was released by the District Attorney’s office as part of their Conviction Integrity Unit. The suspect, 32-year-old Jahmir Harris, was linked to a deadly shooting in 2012 and convicted, with his conviction later overturned with commentary from the judge, telling that the DA’s handling of the initial case was ‘utterly inappropriate.’ Murray and Cruz tell of their utter disappointment in the criminal justice process that led to their brother’s murder, explaining why they’re not confident that the DA’s office is doing the community a service.

Then, Dom welcomes PA State Representative Amen Brown back onto the Dom Giordano Program after he appeared this morning in a panel on Fox and Friends discussing the spike in crime in Philadelphia. During the interview, Rep. Brown mentioned the attitude of progressives when dealing with criminal justice, telling that even he, a Democrat, has often faced ‘our way or the highway’ style politics. Brown stresses the importance of coming together to fix the real issue of crime in Philadelphia, telling how he would things to progress in hopes that we have a safer City.

After that, Dom welcomes welcome media critic Scott Cronick back onto the Dom Giordano to offer what’s worth watching (or not watching) this weekend. First, Cronick tells Dom about Gaslit, a series on Starz that tells the story of the Watergate scandal featuring huge actors such as Julia Roberts and Sean Penn. Then, Cronick expresses his disappointment in the newest installment in the Halloween franchise, telling that it’s by far the worst Halloween movie to date.
