Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by previewing today’s guests, telling listeners that John Toomey, father of Sean Toomey, the victim of a tragic shooting, will join the show to discuss the treatment he has received from the City since losing his son. Also, Giordano tells about a situation unfolding in the Pennsylvania State Senate, with Sam Oropeza rejoining later today to discuss his opponent dropping out of an upcoming special election, only to be replaced with his brother. Then, Giordano takes umbrage with the actions of the South Carolina women’s basketball team, which won the NCAA championship yesterday, after it came out that the team has refused to show up for that national anthem prior to games for more than a season.
Then, John Toomey, father of Sean Toomey, joins the Dom Giordano Program, after losing his son after a tragic incident in Mayfair, with a rogue bullet striking the 15-year-old unloading water from his father’s vehicle, leaving him braindead. First, Giordano asks John about the situation, with Toomey taking us into the night in which he found his son braindead after being struck by a rogue bullet from an alleged carjacking gone awry. Toomey explains his frustration with the situation, telling the role that he believes the District Attorney had in his son’s death, calling for Krasner and Kenney to re-evaluate their social justice priorities.
