Later in the show, Giordano discusses legislation being introduced today by House and Senate Democrats which would expand the number of Supreme Court justices to 13 from 9, essentially packing the court to combat the current conservative majority being held on the Court. Giordano tells who will be leading the pack, arguably his favorite congressman to mock, Hank Johnson, and plays back some of Johnson’s greatest hits, including his questioning whether Guam would tip over with a military presence, and a story about giants and ‘midgets’ facing off in a fight. Today, Dom Giordano led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing the decision by Erie County, NY officials, who announced that vaccine passports would be required to enter into Buffalo Bills or Sabres sporting games. On Tuesday, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz announced that those attending games in the 2021-2022 seasons for both the Bills and Sabres are required to have a vaccine, noting disappointment in the sudden ‘tremendous slowdowns’ of vaccinations. Poloncarz tries to frame the announcement as an ‘incentive,’ which Giordano takes umbrage with, explaining that it’s nothing more than a punishment. Then, Giordano tied this locally, playing back in interview that Dr. Thomas Farley, Philadelphia’s Health Commissioner, gave to KYW in which he noted that he’s unhappy to see mask-less fans at Philadelphia Phillies games. A poll from YouGov ranks all 50 states and Washington, D.C., from the best places to live to the worst, pitting states against one another in duals to determine the best and worst places to live. Giordano rattles off the top 10 best and worst, and discovers that New Jersey is one of the worst states to live, only surpassed by Mississippi and Alabama. Giordano wonders why some blue states, such as New York, are in the top 10 while New Jersey comes in near the bottom. Gregg Jarrett, top flight attorney and Fox News analyst, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the fallout following the continuation of the Derek Chauvin trial and the tragic police shooting of Daunte Wright in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. First, Giordano and Jarrett discuss the Daunte Wright shooting, in which body cam footage shows the pursuing officer mistakenly using her gun rather than a Taser after Wright evaded arrest. Jarrett explains that the probable best way to deal with the Wright situation would be charging the officer in the realm of gross negligence, and see if the case determines any manslaughter charges. Linda Kerns, local attorney now representing the Public Interest Legal Foundation, which is dedicated wholly to election integrity, returns to the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a big win last week. The Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) reached a settlement with the Pennsylvania Department of State to remove dead voters from Pennsylvania’s voter rolls.
