Today, Dom Giordano led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing the decision by Erie County, NY officials, who announced that vaccine passports would be required to enter into Buffalo Bills or Sabres sporting games. On Tuesday, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz announced that those attending games in the 2021-2022 seasons for both the Bills and Sabres are required to have a vaccine, noting disappointment in the sudden ‘tremendous slowdowns’ of vaccinations. Poloncarz tries to frame the announcement as an ‘incentive,’ which Giordano takes umbrage with, explaining that it’s nothing more than a punishment. Then, Giordano tied this locally, playing back in interview that Dr. Thomas Farley, Philadelphia’s Health Commissioner, gave to KYW in which he noted that he’s unhappy to see mask-less fans at Philadelphia Phillies games. Then, Giordano discusses two of Biden’s nominations, one being Linda Thomas-Greenfield, who’s been nominated for UN Ambassador, the other being the nominee for DOJ Civil Rights Chief Kristen Clarke.
