Then we get into Justin Trudeau canoodling with Katy Perry (?!), Eric Adams’ ex releasing an erotic memoir, Mississippi’s surprising literacy glow-up, Kanye’s new “world peace” campaign, and the AI that can now translate your cat’s meows.

Basically, the internet lost it this week - what else is new? 

Kanye made a “Betrayal List,” and somehow it includes Hitler, Curious George, and his own daughter. We don’t know what’s going on either.

This week we’re talking about:

•Britney Spears posting a bunch of Orthodox Jewish men for Rosh Hashanah and just writing “I like the beard”

•The new AI necklace called Friend that talks to you like a therapist and might actually take your job

•Ice Cube’s tour bus getting bombed because people thought it belonged to ICE (yes, really)

•A guy arrested for “not having s**” on a moving truck

•Kim Jong-Un banning the words “hamburger” and “ice cream”

• Influencers renting fake private jets and buying $10K receipts to look rich online

• And a very bleak TikTok trend that might be the saddest thing we’ve ever seen

Basically: the internet had another meltdown and we’re just here talking through it like normal people.

The internet really outdid itself this week. A YouTube pastor swore the rapture was scheduled, Bumble’s founder is facing messy old allegations while pitching AI dating, and a Phillies fan stole a foul ball from a kid—only for the mob to go after the wrong woman.

Also on the scroll: Bill Belichick’s girlfriend filing a Gold Digger™ trademark, an ex–NFL player caught in the most cursed elevator cam moment imaginable, and a $100k visa panic that had tech workers scrambling before the White House backtracked.

It’s chaos out there—luckily we scroll so you don’t have to.
