Robert Mullins is the CoFounder of Polaris.

DeFi has a yield trap, where we're entirely reliant on staking rewards, T-bills, and basis trades for yield, all sources we don't fully control.

In this new episode of DeFi Frontier, Robert explains how Polaris built native yield infrastructure for Ethereum. We review a new native yield-bearing ETH called pETH, that has both a market price and a mathematically guaranteed floor price. With pETH, users will be able to mint a stablecoin USDp, or Polaris digital gold GOLDp or other pAssets supported by the protocol. Robert walks us through Polaris's vision to issue stablecoins, commodities and synthetic assets against pETH, with the economic activity generated flowing back into the ecosystem.
