  • "The Transition Session"

Our lives are in constant transition and movement and often it is NOT at a pace that aligns with our internal needs or expression.  The seasons transition without much warning, we are not in control.  Our hormones cycle and transition, again, out of our control.  Even our bodies, as they age, leave little up to us as to how they are going to transition from one age and stage of life to the next.  Then there are more sudden or dramatic events that really rock our world...like say a pandemic?! So if we are constantly in transition (big and little ones) how can we do our best to manage all of this change and ensure our personal expression and internal compass and rhythms aren’t completely railroaded in the process of life?  It’s A LOT to process!!!

Life transitions are often difficult, but they have a positive side, too. They provide us with an opportunity to assess the direction our lives are taking. They are a chance to grow and learn. Here are some ideas from psychotherapist, Richard Joelson, that may help you make the process more rewarding or at least manageable!

     *CW: Pregnancy, infertility, miscarriage, parenthood

Today we are going to move into another area of expression that is deeply personal and often taboo.  Our reproductive expression.  This topic is vast and we are certainly not experts. Nor are we going to cover everything one may experience on this journey.
Our reproductive journeys can look very different to many people and there are more journey's to family than the stereotypical reproduction.  It can look like choice, Pregnancy, Abortion, Infertility, adoption, The decision to not have children, Pre and postnatal health and mental health, and the devastating experience of pregnancy loss and miscarriage.

This week we are talking about our experiences and stages in our personal journeys with this topic.

We know this can be a touchy subject and there are far more stories to tell than just our own- but today we will start here.

  • "The Risky Business Session" with 'Sexpert' Melanie Marshall

This is our first episode around 'Sexual Expression’...we are going to ease into how to create more intimacy and better sex with our partners and ourselves. We are improving, however, women expressing themselves sexually or expressing their sexuality can still be a very 'taboo' subject.

So what is the key to more intimacy – and mind-blowing sex?   Well the reality is that relationships are about more than just rubbing each other the right way physically. Intimacy begins inside of you. We were looking for a guest who could talk to us about intimacy, looking at ways to increase our bedroom confidence, or even take it to a new level!

Our expert and today’s guest Melanie Marshall talks us through how having a clear vision of your own needs and desires – spiritually, emotionally and mentally - will lead to a healthier relationship with yourself. That getting to know yourself more intimately and being comfortable sharing what you’ve learned with your partner is the first step towards true fulfillment.
