What does it take to turn your darkest moments into a change for yourself and the wider community? Chloe sits down with Brooke McIntosh, record-breaker, mental fitness advocate, and the fastest and youngest woman to run 14,200 kilometers around Australia. From the outside, Brooke had the picture-perfect life. high-earning FIFO work, holidays, and good times. But behind the scenes, she was drowning in a storm of trauma, PTSD, severe anxiety, and suicidal ideation. It took a near-fatal, high-speed T-bone truck crash to shatter the mask, waking up without a scratch on her body, but with a soul forever marked by a newfound purpose. Brooke shares her journey from sending a raw 2 a.m. cry-for-help text message to executing one of the most grueling physical feats on the planet. She averaged 60–111km every single day, pushed through 40°C heatwaves, survived flooded trails, and shredded through 16 pairs of shoes, all while raising over $280,000 for the Blue Tree Project. *** Our new WOMEN'S SPORT FAN CLUB merch has arrived.
