Plot Summary:

Nicholas Van Orton is a wealthy and emotionally distant investment banker who receives an unusual birthday gift from his brother Conrad. The gift is an invitation to participate in a mysterious game orchestrated by a secretive organization known as Consumer Recreation Services (CRS). As Nicholas delves deeper into the game, he finds himself trapped in a surreal and increasingly dangerous series of events that blur the lines between reality and fiction.
