Mike is currently the Football Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Villanova University. We covered a range of topics in this podcast including why all strength coaches need to have a good understanding of linear sprint mechanics, the force-velocity curve in relation to power development, and progressing change of direction drills to agility drills. The one thing that sticks out in this podcast is Mike's education and understanding of how he applies research to develop programs for his athletes. This episode with Mark was awesome. We intended to talk a lot about speed development for hockey but we took a turn in the beginning and we stuck with it. Mark talked about the importance of "buy in" and how "we are in the business of helping people". There are so many great points Mark made during this podcast. Make sure you are ready to take notes.
Michelle was a great guest to have on the show. In this episode we discussed the importance of creating a system, creating principles, and how to organize your coaching philosophy. We also talked about Michelle's mentorship group and how helpful it is to have another coach guide you, hold you accountable, and help you structure your thoughts.

In this episode with Lee we talk about the concept of "speed is a skill". This concept is multifaceted, and we spoke a lot about how understanding multidirectional speed is not utilized enough in our profession. This was an awesome talk with Lee and I hope you all enjoy it.
