Hey LLC crowd! Happy FRIDAY! Let's start this week's convo with the realignment that occurred with the Big12, not only do we take it from the FB perspective...we looked at how the other sports fair. With the entire track and field season coming to an end, Sir Lucious, Lamar, and Clyde highlight the last push of the DL. And just to spice it up, we revisit the (what we deem) most hated part of the DL field event finals process. Lastly, drug cheats...is it possible to decrease the amount of occurrences that we are seeing pop up? The gentlemen have some great takes on this topic, it is worth a listen for sure! Sir Lucious steps up for RAPID FIRE and HeartBeatProps are always a great way to end the show. So, without any further hesitation...enjoy!

It is Friday once again! Thank you all for taking the time to join us for a special episode because today we are joined by Dr. Ross Flowers, founder of Giles Consulting Group. We appreciate his input on more of the mental health piece as he has direct experience as a track and field and a mental health professional. Making sure we take care of business as usual, we engage Clyde in his Fall messiness, aka CFB. Instead of "too early predictions", Big League asks for the IMPRESSIONS of collegiate football from Sir Lucious, Lamar, and Clyde. On the business tip, we ask a question about recruiting strategy...do you agree with the tiles? Clyde lines up for RAPID FIRE and HeartBeatProps are always full of SO much love! So, get comfy and we will see you in a few!

Shelton was recently named the USTFCCCA National Boy's Track Coach of the Year presented by the US Marines. We are humbled to have him sit down and talk about this magical season and how it helped propel him to this award. Listening to Coach, you'll quickly see how it's an all-staff award as Summer Creek HS had point scorers in the high jump, 800m, 110mHH, discus, and a relay. We also learn more about the uniqueness of the Texas HS track qualifying and scoring system.

"It just means more" when an alum coaches at their alma mater. Today's guest nearly quit the App State track team as a sophomore and now serves as the Director of T&F and CC. How's that for a turnaround?
Damion sits down with us today to talk about his mentors, how he never started coaching after college but was brought back to App State as an assistant coach, and his ascension to Associate Head Coach, then head coach, and now Director. Along the way we get into a great conversation around being an introvert, the new track facility they are building, and the power of colored frozen pops (aka Fla-Vor-Ice).

Happy days to all! Join (Sir) Lucious, Lamar, and Clyde this week for some very relevant conversation about all things moving forward in the world of track and field. This week we start off with the next revolution of the "coaching carousel" and how it affects two of our very own. Prefontaine...need we say more?! Well, we will! Big League will bring up a few of the events for the tiles to highlight as to what is the must see of the races. Lastly, there is the last foolery that will be addressed by our tiles regarding the Olympic men's 4x100m quartet. We literally testify to NOT speaking about it ANYMORE! Clyde is in the line of fire for RAPID FIRE, only to be followed by a truly heart felt HEARTBEAT PROPS. Well, sit back and we will "see" you in a few!
