Should we be using Peat Moss?

It's a question that the McFarland's felt needed some air time.  You won't believe the implications surrounding the use of one the best growing mediums known to gardeners.

Jack, Matt and Lynne wind through the ins and outs of extracting peat from bogs and the ecological implications of doing so.

Ladies and gents, it's time for a drink.

The Growing Season guys, who are of Irish descent dive into the inner workings of the horticultural aspects of St. Patrick's Day.

Soda bread, potatoes, onions, shamrocks and the like are all discussed. 

The McFarlands touch on the Irish famine and the reason their ancestors made their way to Canada.  Its a heavy subject, handled with the respect it deserves.
