She originally studied English Literature at the University of Cambridge before qualifying as a doctor and spending many years working in the National Health Service, where she became the lead clinician for psychotherapy in Hertfordshire. Sue now teaches at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust in London and works as a consultant at DocHealth, a not‑for‑profit psychotherapeutic consultation service for doctors.

Homeopathy is an alternative approach to wellbeing that considers the whole person; emotional, mental, and physical, rather than focusing solely on symptoms. Host Gabby Sanderson takes listeners inside Dau Dayal School for Girls in Firozabad, India, just 50 minutes from the Taj Mahal, where she spent a month living on campus and teaching yoga and mindfulness six days a week to more than 400 students.

What began as a volunteer placement soon became something much deeper: a powerful reminder of the connection between giving back, perspective, and wellbeing. Through moments of joy, challenge, and unexpected connection, the experience revealed how acts of service can profoundly impact both those who give and those who receive.
