The Seahawks extended defensive tackle Bryan Money this week to a two year contract extension for $12M. These two additional years will add to the last year of his rookie deal. The Seahawks didn't invest in a 0-tech this offseason for their 3/4. With this contract extension they are signaling that they believe Mone can handle those duties. He's certainly got the size, though this is a bit of a head scratcher of a signing for a player that has played well against the run at times, and not much else. Still, you need 0-tech to make the 3/4 work, which does make it an important part of the defense going forward. Did you like the re-signing? Let's discuss on the show.

According to Sportrac, the Seattle Seahawks have the 8th most amount of salary cap space at approximately $16,7000,000, and they just freed up $3.5M by restructuring Shelby Harris deal. This would seem to indicate something is imminent. It could be a DK contract extension or a trade or a signing of one of the remaining NFL free agents still available. Lost in the shuffle of the Russell Wilson trade has been the exciting of addition of Noah Fant as part of that trade compensation. Fant is not just a throw-in player to the deal. In 2019, he was selected in 20th overall in the first round of the draft. He's an elite athlete that has produced every year he has played. And while he's not yet tapped into that star potential that made him such a high selection, the potential is still there, tantalizingly close.
