Drew Lock's addition into the recent Russell Wilson trade was scoffed at as a thrown-in to the deal by the Denver Broncos. Many believe Lock has no chance at success in Seattle, but on this show I want to propose the possibility of Drew following in the footsteps of a former NFL great, and his own bumpy path to stardom. Wide receiver salaries are exploding. Just a week after Devante Adams was traded and then made the highest paid wide receiver in the sport, Tyreek Hill was moved by the Kansas City Chiefs for multiple picks, and then paid a new marketing setting deal with the Miami Dolphins. D.K. Metcalf is the next man up to score a huge payday. Are the Seahawks willing to go over $25 million a year for their mercurial young receiver? We will discuss the options. The Baker Mayfield situation continues to twist and turn. Mayfield was reportedly more interested in playing for the Colts than the Seahawks, but now is warming to Seattle with fewer teams looking for a trade. Former slot cornerback, Justin Coleman has also been received by the Seahawks as they look to continue to upgrade the slot corner position. Pro days are also happening all across the country.
