The tears were flowing this morning on The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show when researcher Shauna revealed that Friday would be her last day working with the show.

Shauna bid an emotional goodbye to Ian and his amazing listeners, while updating us on her decision to move to Carlow.

If we ever wondered whether people around Ireland loved Shauna as much as we did, that question was well and truly answered today when we saw the texts come flying in after Shauna spoke to Ian on air.

She was also trending on Twitter!

Leonardo explores the secrets and drama behind the life and work of Leonardo da Vinci and stars Irish actor Aidan Turner.

Aidan joined The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show to chat about what it was like to film a full season in the middle of the pandemic, without anyone on set getting sick.

He also chatted about missing home, Turner's parents are in Walkinstown in Dublin, and how Christmas is his favourite time of year to spend at home.

Stephen Donnelly's confusion over his own decision making has been making the headlines this week.
