Sometimes the simplest concept creates the most powerful results. The simple concept I've been contemplating lately is the power of decision-making. When we decide we eliminate all other options besides one. When we go back and forth between options we are negotiating. What choice we make in each decision makes a difference in the quality of our life.

The primary elements of this episode are:

• The first thought of your day can have a profound impact on the quality of your day. Sometimes the first thought of the day is caused by decisions the day before.
• How we shape our day - the quality of the decisions we make - determines the quality of our day. 
• Making the most empowering choices in each moment, and stacking empowering choices, will create an empowered life.

For about a year I've been contemplating my last breath in this lifetime. It's a sobering and humbling thought. But I've grown so much from that single contemplation, and I've made some shifts in my intentions on a daily basis. After I began this contemplation I came across the book Top 5 Regrets of the Dying by Bronnie Ware. This book is powerful, and definitely helped me understand myself and life much more powerfully. In this episode we'll discuss the top 5 regrets.  

The primary elements of this episode are:

• Bronnie lived a life of service to the dying, and from being in her purpose-work her life was enriched, and so were the lives of her dying clients. 
• By understanding these regrets, we can begin to make powerful shifts now. 
• No matter how much time you have left on this planet, it's never too late to set an intention for your last exhale.

I've recognized three sources of stress and struggle in the lives of the people I've worked with. In this episode I present my findings. I'm not saying that these are the only sources - just the three sources that surface more regularly in the lives of the hundreds of people I've worked with in our various programs.

• When we are not true to ourselves, we pretend to be who we're not. I wrote The Imposter In Charge about this exact issue.
• When we do not have a positive relationship with our body, mind, and emotions, we'll always feel broken. Treating them with loving kindness begins the healing process.
• When we understand and heal painful emotional patterns, we discover more peace, love, and joy in our lives. Ignoring painful emotions will gradually cause even more pain and suffering. 
• As we resolve these issues, we live a more wealthy, successful, and happy life.

If you think about what you currently feel, and feel what you currently think, you'll keep creating the same circumstances in your life. Why? Because you're remaining the same person. The person you are created your current circumstances, so the only way to change your circumstances is to change who you are. That takes thinking and feeling differently than you ever have before. 

The primary elements of this episode are:

• In order to grow and evolve as a human being, you must change your thinking and feeling habits. Changing your thinking and feeling habits naturally changes how you experience life. 
• When I started my journey I felt like I was being dishonest and lying  when I thought about what I wanted to create, and felt like I already had achieved it. That's exactly why I was stuck. 
• The magic to creating a new life if to identify the thinking and feeling habits of the future you, and be that person now. Those new habits will create a brand new life.

Are you dedicated or committed? Every time I've gone all in on anything and focused on the immediate actions required to achieve an outcome, I've crushed it. The key for me has been on focusing on the activities, not the outcome. Outcomes are the product of our commitments. Instead of being goal oriented, what if we shift our focus to being committed to the most pressing activities which drive outcomes?

• Looking back at my life I've noticed that whatever I have committed my time and focus on, I've thrived. Whatever I've approached half-assed, I've gotten half-assed results.
• 99% commitment equals 0% commitment. You are either committed or not.

Years ago I wasn't exactly open to new ideas and concepts outside of the accepted and embraced cultural norms. I thought there was acceptable and unacceptable philosophies and approaches in the world, and I rejected what I didn't already known - until it was proven to me that what I didn't know was even more real and relevant than what I thought I knew. That's when my mind really opened up to life-changing tools and ideas. 

The primary elements of this episode are:

• What you know got you here. In order to get to another level, you must move beyond what you know and accept what might not seem credible or real. 
• When I was introduced to some mystical philosophies and tools I now know and trust, I wouldn't open my mind out of fear of judgement. 
• Once I opened my mind to new concepts and "woo-woo" approaches to life, my life began to expand rapidly, and I realized that many people had already been exposed to what I was busy hiding.

Every human being has desire. Desire is the fuel which drives innovation, change, and growth. Even though every human being has desire, not every human being has a healthy relationship with desire. If your desires are fear-based, you'll never solve the problem you're trying to solve. If your desire is inspired desire, you can live an expansive life full of wealth, success, and happiness.

The primary elements of this episode are:

• We're conditioned from a very young age to build a material life based on always wanting more. It's like the purpose of life is to want.
• There are fear-based desires based on insecurity, inadequacy, and insignificance, and inspirational desires based on being ok with or without the object of your desire.
• When you live only through inspired desire, you can continue to expand your life, but never feel incomplete or dissatisfied. This means you get to live soul out.

The courage to be disliked is a super-power. The world is full of people-pleasers, and I used to be one of them. As I resolved layers of wanting to be "liked" and "accepted", I found more freedom to be the only person I was born to be - myself. If we need to be liked and accepted, we will compromise ourself to have our emotional desires met. That leads to a very painful life. People-pleasers lean and learn. I'm about to reveal my deepest pain, and my highest truth.

The primary elements of this episode are:

• Wanting to be liked and accepted led to a very painful marriage and very painful life. 
• Standing up for myself, my desires, my wants and needs, and my true path helped me let go of the need for approval, which led to even more authenticity and love that I had to share with the world. 
• I reveal my deepest pain and my highest truth about God, and I take a huge step on my own journey of building the courage to be disliked. I challenge you to do the same.

A few short years ago Wes Hoffman found himself in a dark place; a life he chose, but didn't love.
