We've talked about the UBI several times over the past couple years, but there's a great article about it today that ties in nicely with an article from Bloomberg about the social welfare system in Sweeden.
Turns out, when you stray from the 5 principles of liberty we discuss on this show you can keep things together for a short time, but human nature and the laws of economics catch up with you eventually.

The fears over China selling US Treasuries over the evolving trade war haven't amounted to much. China is still buying our debt, but there's a new seller, and the result could be catastrophic.
My new Trading Titans Mastermind Program was just released. Check it out here:

The question is, who's to blame? Who knows anymore. They both have blood on their hands as far as I'm concerned.
How anyone could spend so much blood and coin over a worthless chunk of earth is beyond me.
And yet the fighting continues.
I fear there's no end to this war until one side destroys the other. It makes me sad.

Italy is getting ready to institute a 15% flat tax, but before you get too excited, you should read the fine print. We'll talk about the deal in detail on today's show.

Assange may be losing his get out of jail free card as the Equidorian embassy signals it's intention to turn Assange over to UK authorities. Once the UK and Swedish governments are finished with him, I'd imagine the US will want a crack at him over his espionage charges as well.
When you fight the power, you tend to end up with a noose around your neck.

All signs point to yes. The certainly had an unnamed informant feeding them information. Based on what Justice and the FBI have said this individual may have had international ties as well.
The more significant scandal is the FBI admission that it withheld information from a congressional investigation. To call it a scandal may be a bit of a stretch. Congress and the Justice Department are part of two different branches of government, but the request made by Congress was well within its power to request. And that's not me saying it; Speaker Paul Ryan said the same thing.

A new article in Zerohedge.com suggests the reason Facebook has banned all ads for cryptocurrencies is that they intend to launch their own crypto and they don't want the competition.
I think the author if the article lacks a detailed understanding of the retail trading space so I'll take some time today and explain the industry and why Facebook may be making a wise choice in blocking the advertisements.

Finally, I'll take some time today to talk about the show, where it's going and what you can expect to see as we grow. Some of you will love the news, some of you will hate it, but all of you will know the truth.
Until Monday,

As expected Trump backed out of the Iran deal but what does that mean for Iran?
Well, not much if you ask me. None of the other signers on the deal backed out, and since the bulk of Iranian oil is purchased by Asian nations, American sanctions will have little impact on Iranian oil production.
It's tough for me to see the wisdom in this move, but then again it's tough for me to see the wisdom in most of what this president does.
Have a great day!
