We work hard; so we deserve something fun to look forward to 2-3 times a year. So we make it a priority to schedule work trips that are 60% work focus and 40% fun focus. So in today's episode we are going to chat about our first work trip that sparked this normal routine for us, the layout of these trips, and why we travel well together!

The Fundamentals of our work trips:
60% work focused and 40% fun focused

They are not meant to break the bank- we like to pick the location about 3 months before leaving and it usually gets picked based on a travel deal

Places we've been so far: Philadelphia, Scottsdale, Nashville
How we make the trips successful- our main focus is to get shit done and then we can have some fun!
We can focus because we are not distracted by the daily distractions of personal and business life

Prior to the trip we create an itinerary of what needs to be accomplished for that trip
Okay let's have some fun!
Listing our experiences on the trips: food, outfits, music, city tours, etc.

In this episode we are going to be talking all things acne… we will be breaking down what it is, what causes it and what we do at The Skyn Distillery to help treat, correct and prevent it. We are going to be talking a lot about our experience with Face Reality and Emily will be sharing her personal journey as someone who has suffered from acne.

Emily's personal journey with acne- one of her most insecure times of her life.
Emily's intense breakouts starting at age 18; which lead her to being on Accutane and the physical and emotional struggles of being on such an intense drug
Emily's personal journey of getting clear; but then having flare ups of acne again at age 25 which lead her to an elimination food diet to help better control her inflammation
Emily really understanding her skin after becoming an esthetician and how diet and products can trigger acne

Acne is a skin condition that occurs when hair follicles become inflamed due to oil plugging the hair follicle. Sebum is a breeding ground for certain bacteria which can cause inflammation within the hair follicle… bacteria gets trapped, puss forms.. hello acne.
