Dr. Tedi Asher is the first—and only—art museum neuroscientist. Shortly after completing her Ph.D. at Harvard Medical School, she became the Neuroscience Researcher at the Peabody Essex Museum (PEM) in Salem, Massachusetts. There, she helps to inform the exhibition design strategy by analyzing emerging neuroscientific findings and proposing recommendations to increase engagement and visitor impact.
