Timothy Holmseth - Haleigh Cummings
just woke up and our back door was wide open and we can't find our daughter! The crackling recording of seventeen year-old Misty Croslin s voice is as chilling today as it was that February night in 2009 when five year-old HaLeigh Cummings vanished without a trace from her Satsuma, Florida home. With the child s father, Ronald Cummings, ranting and cussing in the background, the young teenager struggled to concentrate as she told the operator how she awoke to find HaLeigh gone from her bed; a brick holding open the house door. The harrowing 911 call was soon looping incessantly on national television as American's sat glued to their TV sets and waited for an answer to the question. 'What happened to HaLeigh Cummings?' As satellite trucks, law enforcement and search teams descended onto the small Florida town, the texture of the case soon began to change something wasn t right in this place. The investigation that ensued was strangely secretive and ultimately led to nothing amidst whispers of drug trafficking, police corruption, threats, intimidation, child prostitution, child pornography, white slavery, organized crime, rape and murder. In March of 2009, HaLeigh s family enlisted the services of a private investigator, attorney, national advocate and media team to assist them in their dilemma. A month later the family contacted Timothy Charles Holmseth, an investigative reporter from Minnesota. What Timothy Holmseth uncovered was so dark and disturbing it was supposed to remain hidden forever. Timothy notified authorities at the county and state level but received only hostile reactions. When he began to publish the information on his website he began receiving late night telephone calls, was threatened by Florida law enforcement, and received ominous communications that spoke of his possible death. In February, 2010, the FBI contacted Timothy and requested a meeting. He was asked for audio recordings of interviews he had conducted with attorneys, private investigators, law officers, witnesses, and family members of the missing child. In Re: HaLeigh Cummings is the book that answers the question; what happened to HaLeigh Cummings? You will hear the names. You will see the faces. You will read the quotes. You will learn the methods and the motives of the underground. You will understand. You will be frightened and sick with outrage. But you will finally know what happened to HaLeigh Cummings.

Kenny "Kenji" Gallo : Breakshot: A Life in the 21st Century American Mafia
Born to a Japanese-American family in ritzy suburban Orange County, California, Kenny “Kenji” Gallo was a bookish, hyperactive kid who lived a double life as a car-bombing, gun-toting international drug trafficker. He owned a nightclub, produced porn movies, and was arrested for the murder of his own best friend- all before he could legally drink. Gallo graduated to life as a jet-setting playboy thug, refining his gangster style under Mafia legends, marrying a legendary porn star, and making millions in credit and stock fraud, extortion, gambling, and the sex trade. Then, after more than two daredevil decades, Gallo voluntarily wired up as an under cover FBI informant in exchange for a fresh start, nearly losing his life in the process. From 1980s cocaine cowboys, to the modern mob and its Tony Soprano wannabes, to the porn industry’s dirty secrets, this riveting and redemptive memoir captures the American underworld in all its tawdry spectacle.

Tuesday - Legendary private investigator Pat McKenna joins me once again to discuss our favorite topic, the OJ Simpson trial. We start off by discussing OJ's imminent release from Lovelock Prison on parole. Pat and I address several of the misconceptions and falsehoods when it comes OJ's convictions for armed robbery and kidnapping. Then Pat and I move onto the media's barrage of bogus and misleading stories related to OJ and his release on parole. We talk about the the Goldman families PR machine pushing the idea that Justin and Sydney are receiving money from OJ for real estate deals, and how this is based on nothing.

Later Pat and I answer and address several questions from UK listener Simon. First we tackle Marcia Clark's erroneous statement that Fuhrman couldn't have framed OJ because he wouldn't have know OJ had no alibi. We then dive into Clark's statements on EDTA being found in your blood naturally and explain how this is a gross miss-characterization of the true facts. Pat and I then discuss the blood evidence on the socks and back gate. We talk about not only that EDTA was found on those samples, but explore how these are two are part of the larger plot by the police to frame OJ Simpson. Pat and I finish off by tackling one of the most asked questions by OJ detractors: What about the Bruno Magli shoes? We break down the major problems with the alleged photo's, how they came into possession of Dan Petrocelli, and the truth over whether or not OJ actually owned them. Pat and I also talk about how the general public has convinced themselves of certain "facts" in the case even when they turn out to be totally false.

Amy Vilela: Shalynne Will Not Die In Vain / Dr Ted Noel Libertarian Healthcare
Amy Vilela NV Congressional Candidate D-4 joins Ed to discuss the heart wrenching story of the death of her daughter Shalynne , due to a lapse in health insurance

.Dr Ted Noel describes his Libertarian approach to Healthcare.

Amy recounts how her daughter went to Centennial Hills Hospital in Las Vegas with incredible leg pain and was seemingly denied full treatment because she did not have health insurance. Shalynne would leave the hospital with a leg brace and instructions not to take it off except to bathe - prime conditions for her condition to deteriorate. She would be rushed to another ER 3 weeks later to a hospital where she would eventually succumb to a pulmonary embolism.

Shalynne's story is a gripping account of what is wrong with a 'for-profit' health care system. Amy has dedicated her efforts to bringing Shalynne's story to the fore in hopes others don't suffer the way her daughter did. Please visit Amy's webpage for more information of DVT - symptoms, tests to request, and more.
