After close to 500,000 votes and stiff competition from 63 other provincial symbols, the CBC audience has voted in the orca as B.C.'s Best Symbol.

CBC's Justin McElroy and On The Island host Gregor Craigie join the show live from the Centre for the Coast Salish in Sidney, B.C., to talk all things orca — from its connection to Indigenous communities, to conservation efforts, to the lore surrounding it in B.C.
