Losing weight is easy, right? Through exercise, healthy eating, and hard work, shouldn’t you be able to reach all of your health goals? Well, it’s not so simple…

This week, Justin chat’s with fellow Council coach, Drew Manning. Drew, having grown up as a healthy individual, realized that there was a disconnect between himself and his personal training clients. This is what sparked the idea of Fit2Fat2Fit. He decided he would intentionally become overweight and then try to lose it all. All within the span of one year.

In this episode, Drew talks about:

• The side effects of a bad diet - Unprocessed foods are convenient and affordable, but they also impact your psyche in some pretty drastic ways
• The emotional/mental challenges - When your sense of self is so closely tied to your body, the journey is no longer about just “losing weight”. It’s about re-training your brain
• Losing weight - The view from the top of the mountain is WAY different than the view from the bottom
