Google may be watching you even when you've tried to hide. Reports suggests Google records users' location even when they turned location services off. Meanwhile, Facebook has decided to wind down its anonymous polling app for teenagers at high schoolers. The app delved further into the private lives of the users, and used "psychological tricks" on the young users. The panelists debate whether we can expect any privacy in our tech world anymore. What the Panelists Victoria Stewart and Martin Cocker want to talk about. Speaker Trevor Mallard has decided to investigate who leaked Simon Bridges' spending bill. The National Party leader wants an in-depth, independent report into who leaked the details about his almost $114,000 travel bill. The details were due to be released next week anyway. The panelists discuss whether this has been overblown. Forest & Bird is calling for a ban on commercial whitebait sales, and a quota for recreational fishing on the seafood, until stocks recover. The season starts today for most areas of the country and Forest & Bird is reminding people that most whitebait species are in danger of extinction. But whitebaiters say a ban won't stop the fishing and won't do much to boost numbers anyway. Ian McCracken, past President of the Southland Recreational Whitebaiters Association explains. Turkey's President Erdogan has announced a boycott of American electronics today, in retaliation of punitive sanctions. The tension between the two countries has been rising as they debate the extradition of a US pastor imprisoned in Turkey. The country's economy is in crisis and the impact could be far reaching. International Law Professor Al Gillespie, from the University of Waikato, tells us what the situation is.
