  • Inside The Cylinder ep. 110: Killian Hayes is back!
We took last week off from the Pistons to talk the upcoming NBA Draft, so in case you missed that episode, make sure to check it out here! Now, we’re back talking Detroit Basketball. In this episode we focus on the French Connection - that is, Killian Hayes’ return, and the consistently curious case that is Sekou Doumbouya. Matt and I will break down what we’ve liked about their games recently, and what we’d like to see them concentrate on moving forward.
We also give a quick update on the TANK. We'll cover the draft odds, and remaining schedules of the Pistons and the other bottom-tier teams of the NBA.

Frank Jackson - three point sniper
What to keep your eye on for the remainder of the season
    Detroit's lineups

  • DBB Podcast: Tank 'Em Down
Hey everyone. This is Laz Jackson of Detroit Bad Boys, and on this week's episode we talk about your 16-37 Detroit Pistons. Ben Gulker and I talk about Killian Hayes playing good against bad teams and bad against good teams, why Sekou Doumbouya is getting more minutes and what he's doing with them, and ... the Masters. Because this is a 16-win Pistons team. Don't judge us.

  • Inside The Cylinder ep. 109: NBA Draft Preview with Adam Spinella
Now that the NCAA tournament has come and gone, we figured it'd be a great time to preview the upcoming NBA draft! Since Matt and I aren't draft gurus ourselves, we'd decided to ask for some backup, so we brought on Adam Spinella.
Spinella is the Assistant Men's Basketball coach at Dickinson College, and currently covers the draft on his personal blog, The Box and One. He also writes for SB Nation's CelticsBlog and you can follow more of his draft and NBA coverage on his YouTube channel.
In this episode we focus heavily on the (currently) projected Top 5 picks in Cade Cunningham, Evan Mobley, Jalen Green, Jalen Suggs and Jonathan Kuminga.
    Other draft related topics include
Best player outside the top 5
Players that fit Troy Weaver's identity
Baylor players at the next level
Franz Wagner and Aaron Henry projections
All that and more in this week's episode!

  • DBB Podcast: Emotional Hedging with Matt Schoch
Hey everyone. This is Laz Jackson of Detroit Bad Boys, and on this week's episode we talk about your 14-35 Detroit Pistons. Ben Gulker and I talk with former host of Locked on Pistons and current PlayMichigan.com writer Matt Schoch about Killian Hayes' return, Saddiq Bey hitting the rookie wall, and a term I just learned on the pod - "Emotional Hedging."
Matt was a gracious guest, we really appreciated his insight, and you should check out the projects he teased in our episode when they come to fruition. In the meantime, though, visit PlayMichigan.com for your coverage of the Sports Betting Industry in Michigan to support Matt and his work.
For Ben and I, as always, we appreciate your continued support of the podcast. • Inside The Cylinder ep. 108: The lineup shuffle!
Inside The Cylinder is back following the trade deadline! In this episode Matt Way and David Fernandez discuss the trade that sent Delon Wright to Sacramento Kings for Cory Joseph and two second round picks. Was it a good trade, bad trade, or just ....ya know.. a trade? Also, we share our thoughts on why we weren't that upset that Detroit held onto Wayne Ellington.
And since Hamidou Diallo has finally suited up for the Pistons, we'll break down what we like about his game and his fit with Detroit's young core.
We'll also discuss the following topics
Josh Jackson in the starting lineup?
Whether or not the Pistons should eventually shut down Jerami Grant to preserve the TANK
Blake Griffin's antics from Friday's game
And who will make a bigger impact on their new team, Griffin in Brooklyn or Drummond in LA
All that and more in this week's episode!

  • Detroit Bad Boys Podcast: Stuck In The Suck
Hey everyone. This is Laz Jackson of Detroit Bad Boys, and on this week's episode we talk about your 12-33 Detroit Pistons. Ben Gulker and I talk about what did - and didn't - happen at the trade deadline for the Pistons, the impact of Jerami Grant's quad contusion (just rest him, please) and Blake Griffin's heel turn in his return to Little Ceasar's Arena.
As always, we appreciate your continued support of the podcast, and the best way to do that is to share, subscribe, and leave comments - please leave comments on the discussion post on Detroit Bad Boys, that's the best way for us to have the conversation we want to have around the podcast. • Inside The Cylinder ep. 107: 2021 NBA Trade Deadline Special!
We’re only a day and a half away from the 2021 NBA Trade deadline, so you know what that means! Speculative trade conversation time!
Matt Way and I (David Fernandez) talk some official trade discussions, including the Sacramento Kings offering up Marvin Bagley for Saddiq Bey. Some trade rumors, including the Pistons “lurking” around Victor Oladipo, as reported by ESPN’s Brian Windhorst. And some trades that we straight up made up. In all likelihood these trades won’t go down, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t merit behind their utterance!
    Some other trade conversations include
What it would take for Troy Weaver to trade Jerami Grant
    Spencer Dinwiddie 2.0
Whether or not it’d make sense for Charlotte and Detroit to make a swap
Some under the radar guys we’d like Detroit to target
