In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about future Capital Ethan Bear and what he will add to the Capitals. The difficult position that the Caps are in as that the right side of their blue line is full. Who wil be the odd man out? Lucas Johanson will recently waived, is that the move that will make room for Bear? He was drafted in the fifth round in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft by the Edmonton Oilers from the Seattle Thunderbirds in the Western Hockey League (WHL).[2] He was signed to a three-year, entry-level contract with the Oilers on July 2, 2016.[3] Bear made his NHL debut on March 1, 2018, in a game against the Nashville Predators.[4] He recorded his first NHL goal in a 5–4 overtime loss to the Anaheim Ducks on March 25, 2018.[5] Bear is right handed and the Caps already have 3 right handed blue liners in John Carlson, Nick Jensen, and Trevor van Riemsdyk TVR can play on his off side.
